"Everyone has a box."

Meaning, a box of objects with sentimental value.

Christopher Nolan once made a film called, "Following" in which there is a burglar that breaks into people's homes in order to steal.....NOT objects of money value, but sentimental value. He concluded that, "Everyone has a box."

On my desk sits a teddy bear that was given to me in my Hollywood Video days....

*Flashback*

Her name was Ruth. She was one of the friendliest cutomers I met while working at Hollywood. She would always come into the store during my shift and we would talk about her work as an interpreter. Its nice to meet a friendly face. A few days before my last day of work, Ruth came into the store and gave me a present. It was a small, cream-colored, teddy bear. She told me about a tradition in her family that everytime someone starts college they recieve a small teddy bear. I thought that was pretty neat. She also gave me a card, that read,

" Congrats on starting college, I hope you enjoy everyday of it. Take care of yourself and thanks for smiling + making my "late-fees" fun, God Bless, Ruth + Family"

*flash forward*

Every so often I find myself looking at the teddy bear which I have named, Rupert. It always seems to give me a pervasive feeling of comfort. Sometimes I look to it for inspiration.

If I had a box...Rupert would defenitely be in it.

I will remember you
Will you remember me?
Don't let your life pass you by
Weep not for the memories ....

I am now confused about everything in life.

Summer is extremely short. I just realized that I need to hang out with all of you people before you/I leave for college.

Please Note: I'll be attending BCC so it's pretty much before you guys leave for college since my ass isn't going anywhere.

Man, I'm gonna miss so many people. This summer is all we have left.

I think someone somewhere,
or it could even be noone anywhere,
near by or even far away,
may infact or may not even be,
but possibly and probably
could be playing baseball because I hear noises outside my window that kinda sound like a basball game.

If it is a baseball game I hope the team that I may or may not like is winning cuz that would really make my day, Night, Evening, Dusk.

I think I'll move my computer up too my room. Actually I lied, It's already in my room but for temporary. I'm thinking of moving it up to my room permanantly.

Yea, this entry really wasn't about anything, I was just bored. I think I was supposed to hang out with ppl today but they were supposed to call me back but then they didn't call so I just sat at home waiting for their call and watched a show about Dolphins swimming and stuff. I also got an inside look on how they mate. Interesting.

The male Dolphin swims upside-down and brushes up underneath the female dolphin.

I know I"m updating kinda late. I just finished my slide show. IT's roughly about 15 mins long. I didn't even know that I took so many pictures during the school year. Jeez. Editing took such a long time. maybe roughly 20 or so hours in the last few days. After watching it, I really missed LW and this past school year, So many great memories.

So this morning, as in yesterday morning, since its like 3 am almost, Some guy was like trying to break into my house, it caught me way off gaurd, I didn't even call the cops. I was just really stunned about it. This is how it all started, Someone was knocking at my door at around the noonish hours. So I try to see who is from my basement window but I can't get a good look. Then they go around back and knock on my sliding glass door to my basement. So then I go upstairs and look out my window to see if I see any cars or vehicles that I would recognize, I didn't see anything. then the guy goes up to the top deck and opens up my kitchen window. This is when we see eachother, When he see's he quickly steps back from the window which was partially open then he appoligizes and asks me if a guy named Jonathon lives here. I had no idea how to react to any of this. This guys was like probably my age, he was white, short brown hair, dresses kinda gangsta-ish and he also seems like he was stoned and dazed.

So then I told him that Jonathon doesn't live here and he's got the wrong house, then he appoligizes some more and asks if I know a Jonothon around here. I tell him that I don't. then he appoligizes some more and leaves.

I should of called 911 from the start but this has just never happened to me before. Now I wish could go back in time and beat the crap out of this guy.

Now we keep our house Hella-locked down.

On a brighter side, Ryan Flanagan gave me free Pizza today. It was good.

I no longer feel safe in my own home.

Today I totally woke up at 9 am which is a big accomplishment for me since I went to bed like at 3am and it's summer and all. Then I watched some Family Guy episodes on DVD to get me ready to go to BCC.

Here's my logic:

Family Guy = Life Lessons = knowledge = me getting smarter by watching it = me more prepared for college and BCC.

Yea, so I left the house around 11:45ish. Got there at around 12 and parked my car in the ridiculous parking maze. Went to the counseling center to see if there really was a "New-Student Advisor/Registration thing today....They couldn't tell me anything. It wasn't marked on the calender and it wasn't on the website, so they told me to go check in room C225, which I did. When I got there there was no one there but I was kinda early so I waited and looked outside the window and started to count asians walking by. In the first 10 seconds or so I already counted about 30 asians that I could see from where I was standing., so then I stopped...Then Room C225 was opened and it turned out the thing was today, Thats was a relief. The to my surprise, Nick HB showed up.

So for fall quarter I am registered to take:

  • Math 124: calculas 1.
  • English 094: Developemental English (I need to take this before I can take English 101).
  • General Business.

Today I also spent another 4 hours working on a slideshow of pictures. I also watched parts of the movie "Eyes Wide Shut" in High Definition.....Jesus, That movie is so messed up.

Amazing..

  • Jul. 10th, 2005 at 11:39 PM

So tonight, I hung out with Connie. Made an attempt to get Bubble Tea but they were closed. Sad.... So we went to Coldstone in crossroads and got Ice Cream. It was sooo good. The we came back to my house and watched Family Guy on DVD. Hilarious!

Today I bought two movies on DVD.

  • Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
  • Lost In Translation.

Yea, These are a couple of my favorite movies. So I just thought I should own them. Life is so Rad!

For those of you that were there that one night at Katie's recently, I got home and realized I had over 300 pictures from that night. Crazy. Oh and Today I also worked on a little slide show of pictures taken from this past school year. *sigh* The Memories...

Tommorrow,  going to BCC I think. I hope that "New Student Advisory is tommorrow." on my slip It says its tommrow but On the BCC website it doesn't have tommorrow listed as one of the days. So now I am confused...Oy.

Interesting.. )

So Today I was on the way home from Costco with my mom, when on the Radio the song "The Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel starts to play. I haven't heard this song in longest time. It made me think about the movie "The Graduate." which we watched in American Pop Culture with Nordmark. Man, I miss that class. Only Steve, Kelly and I know how great that class was with Nordmark since there were only like 10 ppl in it. *sigh* Now it's all just memories that I'll keep with me and reflect upon every once in awhile.

Yesterday was slightly depressing since Katie Weltner is leaving for germany for one month. She will be missed. It seems everyone is gone or leaving. Tommorrow I need to go to BCC for the advisor and registration thing. This is going to suck. I have no idea what classes to take or anything.

Today was a pretty relaxing day. Got up at 11, and did some cleaning. then I was looking thru all the pictures I've taken on my computer. There's quite a few from the school year so then I decided to make a slideshow with the pictures from this past year. Then later on when summer is over I'll make another with the pictures I have been taking recently. Ummm...For dinner I went to go eat Pho with my mom and her bf. I also had a pearl smoothie. Its kinda like bubble tea but like one step above it. It actually tastes like a smoothie but it still had the tapioca balls so I could get some "practice shooting" in. Then later one I got home then went for a random drive. RObyn called me to hang out so I picked her up and went cruising.

Thats pretty much my night.

Yesterday was good. Slightly depressing that it would be the last day to hang out with Michael since he left just now to go to the airport. wow, It feels like he just got back from the grand canyon and now leaves again for 3 weeks to korea. Crazy. anyways.... yesterday Madgell put on this surprise dinner for Michael at Red Robin. It went well, Michael shocked. Afterwards we went to coldstone, then allisha's house, then danny's house, then Madgell, Michael, Connie and I went to my house and watched some of harold and kumar. It was a great night....Only one thing in the world could have possibly made this night better for me..

I hope everyone had a good 4th of July yesterday. Mine was alright, I went to my sister's house for a dinner/BBQ. I really miss the fireworks that they used to have at Marymoore park. Those were so awesome. YEsterday I also went to "Wing Dome" in kirkland for the first time. IT was pretty cool. Today is Michael's last day before he leaves for Korea. So that means that with Kely, and Michael gone, I'll be the remaining asian guy within the group.

So yeah....

What has everyone else been up too lately?

I think some of the most depressing songs I listen too come from the Garden State soundtrack, The O.C. soundtrack mix 1, and Death cab's Transatlanticism album. With everyone leaving and going away on vacation and I'm still stuck here, it just seems to be the perfect mixture of music to listen too.

Tonight was interesting and also a little sad. I realized that summer is gonna go by so extremely fast. I'm going to try to enjoy every night of it. It's going to be sad enjoying summer without Kelly and Michael since both of them are taking one-month long vacations. One month is a long time, Thats practically all summer. I wonder what I'll do for a month.

Tonight was interesting. It was the last nite to hang out with Kelly before he leaves for a month. Wow, Thats a long time. Yea, We made an attemt to going to Red Robin with the group that kinda fell short though. THen afterwards we just came to my house and hung out.

Its about 2 am. I just got home and I"m calling it a night. Today was muy fun. Katie Weltner's party defenitely kicked ass. I also hit up Mallorie Hanson's Grad party, and I hit up starbucks for a lil bit to Say my final Good-bye to "Fred the French Guy". Like last year when I said Good-bye to that guy "Azziz". this year I"m doing the same to Fred. ITs really sad. When Saying Good-Bye to him it really hit me that High School is over.

Farewell Fred. You will be missed.
